Thin millage epoxy coatings are used in a wide variety of places from air plane hangers to automotive service centers and even retail spaces. These types of coatings can range dramatically in color and and other effects. They typically are installed in solid colors, but there are a few manufactures in the market that offer designer types of epoxy coatings that look very similar to marble, these coatings employ the addition of metallic pigments to accomplish this marbling. Solid color versions can have aggregate broadcast it to them and then have another coat applied over the first coat to add additional durability and ware resistance, additionally urethane coats can be applied as a final top coat to add even more ware resistance. below are some pictures of epoxy coatings.
